Preparing for your dog’s visit doesn’t need to be complicated. These guidelines help us maintain your dog’s routine, ensure their comfort, and care for personal belongings throughout their stay.

What You’re Welcome to Bring
You’re welcome to bring a small number of personal items to help your dog feel comfortable during their stay. Please limit items to those listed below.
Approved Items
- One (1) light comfort item such as a small blanket, towel, or t-shirt
- Toys (plush toys are fine for non-chewers)
- Medication or supplements, if needed, in original pharmacy-labeled containers
- Collar and leash
- Food, packed according to our meal packing guidelines

Items We Ask You Not to Bring
For safety, sanitation, and consistency of care, some items cannot be accepted.
Not Approved Items
- Prong collars or electronic collars
- Food or water bowls (unless prior approval is given)
- Slow feeders or food puzzles
- Feeding stands
- Crates (unless prior approval is given)
- Large or bulky beds (unless prior approval is given)
(We provide beds and orthopedic options.) - Glass items of any kind
- Bedding that is easily destroyed or too large for our washing machines
- Soft toys with squeakers or toys that pose a choking risk
- Rawhides or edible chew items that could present a choking hazard
- Large bags or containers of dry dog food

Items We Provide for All Boarding Dogs
Many everyday items are already available and included for your dog’s use during their stay.
Provided at the Lodge
- Food and water bowls (including slow feeders)
- Fresh water
- Kuranda beds
- Clean blankets and fleeces (laundered daily)
- Dry dog food
- Wet dog food
- Low-sodium chicken broth
- Refrigerator and freezer access for food storage
- Canned food lid covers
Available with an Additional Fee
- Stuffed Kongs or fillable enrichment toys
- Orthopedic bedding
A Helpful Reminder
Please label all personal items with your dog’s name. While we take care to manage belongings carefully, limiting what you bring helps reduce the risk of loss or damage.
